Updates and important announcements from our staff team

As some of you are already aware, we've implemented a new ban system to replace our old ban system. This brings a number of benefits to members, as well as staff, which I'll highlight below. We also have some new features in this system.

For Players
  • This system brings increased transparency in moderation procedures for both regular players and for those being punished. Everyone is notified when any action is taken against any account, such as a ban, mute, etc., and all reasons are publicly viewable.
  • You can now see the past bans, mutes, etc. for any player with the /bminfo <player> command. This command is useful for checking the reputation of a player before engaging in trades or deals. You can see your own history with /bminfo.
  • Punishments are now layered and stacked, so we take appropriate action based on your previous history, rather than making assumptions or going from memory.
For Staff
  • More control and increased efficiency over the old system.
  • Detailed history of users to ensure appropriate action is taken.
NEW: Warning System
Rather than kicking or giving out multiple verbal warnings, staff will now be using logged formal warnings to keep track of users who frequently misbehave and punish appropriately. The point hierarchy looks like this:
  • 2 points: kick from server.
  • 3 points: temporary mute for 20 minutes.
  • 4 points: temporary ban for 2 days.
  • 6 points: temporary ban for 5 days.
  • 9 points: temporary ban for 15 days.
  • 12 points: temporary ban for 30 days.
  • 15 points: permanent ban.
Most warnings are worth a single point, though there are exceptions when necessary. Temporary...
EDIT: Thanks for your patience, Skywars is now back in operation.

The skywars server will be down for a few days or so due to some technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience.
As some of you may remember, we used to have a TeamSpeak server, but we never promoted or used it. Per a recent suggestion, we have setup a TeamSpeak server for everyone to use.

Don't have TeamSpeak? Download it here:

Please make sure to join the server using your in-game name.
On behalf of the ULMC team, happy new year (almost)! Thank you for your continued support. We have lots of exciting new things planned for 2016! 2015 was a great year for us, and we couldn't have done it without all our players, as well as our staff team.
First off, welcome back!

Last week, the forum was vandalized by a user who gained access to an administrator's account. Fortunately, the damage was minimal, and we've been able to fix pretty much all damage that was done. Here's a rundown:
  • All forum posts and threads were lost
  • All user accounts (besides the administrator's account in question) were not touched
  • Your passwords are safe
  • All forums are back up. Certain pages (like rules, etc.) are currently being rewritten
  • We have beefed up security on admin accounts so this won't happen again
Even though no passwords were compromised, we still highly recommend that you change your password if it is not unique to this site. This was all the result of weak password used on multiple sites by the same admin. Nobody has been fired, though, as mentioned above, we have taken preventative measures to stop this kind of issue in the future.
